McCann Melbourne is looking for a Social Media Writer to join its growing digital team. At McCann Melbourne you will work primarily on the globally renowned beauty brand, L’Oréal Paris.
As Social Media Writer you will work closely with our account management team to create digital content, from ongoing social media content to campaign specific and regular e-newsletters
This will suit candidates looking for a part-time role (Currently 1 day a week) and for those wanting to work remotely. You will be required to meet with the Account management team regularly so it is essential to be Melbourne based.
For the period of 14 to 25 May, 2015, you must be available to work on-site for 3 hours a day to provide social media coverage for the Cannes Film Festival for the L’Oréal Paris Australia social media channels.
Research, write, edit and proofread copy for social media, e-newsletters and scripts for online video content.
Ensure the timely delivery of quality digital content.
Ability to adapt style and tone of voice to suit a variety of digital platforms and demographics.
General content creation across various digital platforms.
Skills based competencies
The Social Media Writer:
Must have excellent written communications skills.
Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms.
Proven experience in PR, writing, social media and content creation for a range of online mediums including blogs, display advertising, eDMs and social media.
Bloggers will be considered.
A degree in Journalism and/or Communications preferred.
A basic understanding of marketing and social media dynamics.
